hmmmm... Perhaps, but wonder is more important and I think that is the hang up. People who don't wander in the mind get bored with the world and themselves in it. say, what happened to your blog?
Evan, I disagree for three reasons. 1) A bored man has nothing to do, so he has no reason to be late. 2) A bored man wishes to relieve his boredom, and thus will show up on time in order to be cured of his ennui as soon as possible. 3) The quote is quite a witty quip.
(1) A bored man has things to do, but no desire to do them. This inertia results in chronic tardiness.
(2) A bored man, while wishing to relieve his boredom, will not unless coerced show up to do the things he has no desire to do. Human nature is such that these "undesirable things" are often necessary to an ordered life.
i am found here in my words... or perhaps somewhere between all of the words...i know i'm headed somewhere - trying to see what i can of the world while out in it, learn what i am able while on the way, and love who and what i meet while getting there

I object. Punctuality is the virtue of the self-disciplined. Without it, the world does not turn.

(3) Wit lacking a sound basis is foolish.
